the sun is my friend

and my second friend is the beach……………….Since the sun is finally out here in the midwest, and the temperatures are actually balmy, I am thinking about my other friend, the beach………………here are some fun, beachy kitchens I found from ElleDecor (even though I think one or two of them might have different tags, that is where I found them)

I think this kitchen is fresh!  and I LOVE the barstools……….

17 years

so this weekend we celebrated our 17th anniversary and my sweet adorable and yummy husband, whom I love with all my heart, surprised me and arranged for our children to have a lovely evening (thank you sister!)…….so he took me away………

we stayed here, if you can, you must go!!!

It was cozy, and peaceful and had a stunning view of the new Target Field.

and then we had a 6 p.m. reservation here…..

Swank is the word for it!  and the food, was like nothing I have ever eaten before.  You really must visit!!

little miss

working on bailey’s room plan……we only have a little over two more years with her, so I want it to be super hip for her to enjoy……….if we had alot of extra money, who does these days, this might be what I did………

I would buy three of these mirrors to place behind the headboard, zgallerie

the bedding, we would make…….all white linen ruffles with approximately a 1 1/2 foot stripe of orange ruffles we would place along the whole length about 2/3 from the headboard…………..we would of course die the fabric ourselves so it was very boho chic…..

I just love these pillows from Zgallerie so I would use them on the “white leather window bench”

art on the wall opposite of the bed, and I would take the time to add glitter to highlight some of the art, Ballard Design

and then to soften everything, I would get lots of these including some tall vases I have seen recently,  PotteryBarn

okay, need to go dream some more………………….
